Not Excellent: Keanu’s BRZRKR is Delayed
Boom! Studios announced today that it is pushing back by four months the eagerly-awaited debut of BRZRKR, due to the decision to change artists, from Alessandro Vitti, who was originally attached to the project, to Marvel/DC staple, artist Ron Garney.
BRZRKR is co-written by Keanu Reeves (whoa!) and the main character bears a passing, near exact resemblance to great-guy actor Keanu Reeves, who conceived of the project.
BRZRKR, which will now premiere in February 2021 rather than next month, is the story of “the man known man known only as B…half-mortal and half-God, cursed and compelled to violence…even at the sacrifice of his sanity,” according to Boom!’s official description of BRZRKR.
Reeves co-wrote the text along with Matt Kindt. Colorist Bill Crabtree and letterer Clem Robins make up the rest of the creative team. Boom! is selling the book traditionally as well as through its Kickstarter. Find the link here.
