Nicolas Cage couldn’t be any hotter.

The actor will star in Longlegs, a horror-slash-thriller from Jason Cloth and Dave Caplan of C2 Motion Picture Group. While no plot details are known, according to Deadline, it will be a classic Hollywood psychological thriller.

Osgood Perkins (Gretel & Hansel) wrote the script and will direct. Cage and his Saturn Films (The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent, Pig) will produce, along with Dan Kagan (Significant Other), Brian Kavanaugh-Jones (Insidious), Dave Caplan (The End We Start From) and Chris Ferguson (Child’s Play).

Cage has been very busy of late: he is currently shooting the upcoming A24 comedy Dream Scenario with Julianne Nicholson, Michael Cera, Tim Meadows and Dylan Baker, and was recently cast in the upcoming film Sand and Stones, which is being described as a survival-action thriller. Production is set to begin next month in Dublin, Ireland.

Cage will also star in sequels to some of his most iconic and/or acclaimed films, Pig and Face/Off. Pig, which featured Cage as a truffle-hunter who lives alone in the Oregon wilderness who must go to insane lengths to rescue his prized truffle-hunting pig, won the Independent Spirit Award for Best First Screenplay and earned Cage a second nomination for the Critics’ Choice Movie Award for Best Actor.

Face/Off is a cult classic from 1997, starring Cage as ruthless terrorist Castor Troy, who in his attempt to destroy FBI agent Sean Archer’s (John Travolta) life, devises a plot to switch faces with his nemesis. He’s also in talks to headline a third entry in his National Treasure franchise, and will play Dracula in Universal’s upcoming vampire thriller Renfield.
