If there was anything to look forward to this past week to get your mind off of election updates, it was episode four of The Bachelorette.

In this episode of the Clare and Dale love story, it starts out with the other guys sitting around different areas of the resort talking about the last group date and how they were fully in, but Clare was not because of Dale.

Next, we see a very dramatic pan of Clare sitting in her suite writing in her journal and talking about her love for Dale. Yes Clare we get it, Dale is your dream guy that you fell in love with within two weeks of “supposedly” meeting him.

Now in walks Chris Harrison, everyone’s main man. He and Clare sit down and have a serious talk about the continuation of the season.

Chris tells Clare that they cannot continue to go down this path because the guys know everything that is going on and that Dale is the one she is willing to settle with. With that being said, Clare thought about everything and said she wants to just spend more time with Dale.

As the gentlemen are sitting in the main room, Chris comes to tell the guys that there will be no cocktail or rose ceremony for the night, and then pulls Dale aside to talk with him privately. As expected the guys are devastated and confused at the same time.

This conversation is Chris telling Dale that Clare was wanting to spend more time with Dale and that the two of them will be having a one-on-one dinner date that night.

During the dinner date with Clare and Dale, Clare tells Dale how she has fallen in love with him and that she felt the spark since the moment they met when he walked out of the limo. 

Dale eventually tells Clare that he is falling for her, too. They talk about their parents and how they met and how Dale is very similar to Clare’s dad. She compares them a lot. Kinda weird if you ask me, but whatever floats your boat there, Clare.

Get this: Clare’s dad proposed to her mom only three weeks after they met. Following in your parents footsteps I see there Clare, huh? Whoops…spoiler. Yes, Clare and Dale eventually get engaged. I’ll explain later.

After dinner, Clare and Dale go back to her room once again and they get cozy with one another throughout the night. You would assume, and you would be correct, that Dale spends the night at Clare’s suite.

The other suitors talk about Dale’s time with Clare and are suspicious if he slept over there or not and are questioning everything that has happened from the first night on.

Once again, our man comes in and saves the day. Chris Harrison talks again with Clare about what the future holds with this journey. 

Clare says she can see herself marrying Dale and wants to continue to pursue that relationship. With that being said, Clare must tell the other guys what is happening.

Now is the moment of truth where Clare has to “break up” with her other boyfriends. She tells the guys that she respects them too much to continue this journey when she already knows that she has found her love with Dale.

As assumed, the guys are angry, confused, and distraught because they have stopped their lives for her to do this. But they end up telling her that they are happy for her and that they hope all the best for her and Dale.

Once this is over, Chris calls Neil Lane to talk about getting the engagement ring to the La Quinta that night.

Dale and Chris talk about the future and what is to happen moving forward. When Chris tells Dale that Clare broke up with the other guys, he laughs andsyas he is (hopefully) ready for the next steps with Clare.

Clare is extremely stressed out and overwhelmed because of the endings of her past relationships and says she does not want that to happen to her and Dale.

As the night falls, Clare meets Chris as a spot at the resort where she is set to meet Dale. Chris comes in bearing some news, obviously walking in in the “most dramatic way possible.”

Chris just tells her that the whole crew is proud of her and her journey and that he will go grab Dale if she is ready.

As Dale comes walking in, Clare has the biggest smile on her face knowing that she could be getting engaged in minutes.

The two love birds talk and express their feelings about one another once again. The moment is very special between them.

Dale does get down on one knee and proposes to Clare. She, of course, says yes. Let me just tell you that this ring needs its own zip code because holy cow it is HUGE.

The newly engaged couple is able to leave the bubble and they end up going back to Clare’s house where it looks like they are staying together.

It is the next day and Chris goes and tells the other guys that Clare and Dale are engaged and are no longer at the resort. Once again, the guys are shocked about this because they wanted to come find love but did not get the opportunity.

But in comes superhero Chris with good news, telling the guys they have the entire day to think about if they want to stay and try for another shot at love with the next woman they are bringing in.

Some guys are iffy because they have no clue who is coming in, and also because they caught feelings for Clare and it is hard to just get over someone that quickly and move on.

The guy struggling the most with this is Jason, because his one-on-one date included him and Clare sharing deep feelings they had been keeping inside. He shared stuff he had not shared with anyone and that is something he is struggling with moving past.

Luckily, all the guys come to terms with wanting to find love and continue on with their journey. Most of them are excited because they have no clue who it is and they know nothing about her.

As the new Bachelorette is on her way, Chris talks to the guys and tells them that she is a great woman and someone who is eager to find love and get to know every single guy that is here.

The limo arrives with the main woman and out walks Tayshia Adams, your new Bachelorette. 

This is, of course, how the episode ends. We don’t even get to see how the men react to seeing her for the first time. 

With that being said, next week’s episode looks interesting. Tayshia is getting the feeling that she feels like the second option to these guys and she does not want that.

Ending with the dramatic preview, Chris tells Tayshia that something completely unexpected is going to happen. In my opinion, I think they will be bringing in more guys for Tayshia to choose from. 

One last thing I would like to put out there is that I am going to be making my final guess on who Tayshia ends up with. Calling it now: Tayshia will be engaged to Eazy by the end of her season.
