Hulu has added a new twist to the home invasion thriller: aliens.

In No One Will Save You, Booksmart’s Kaitlyn Dever plays Brynn Adams, a creative and talented young woman who’s been alienated from her community, finding solace within the walls of the home where she grew up. That fragile peace is shattered one night when she’s awakened by strange noises made by intruders- alien ones – breaking into her house. Alone, Brynn must fight off a host of extraterrestrial beings who threaten her future while forcing her to deal with her past.

Written and directed by Brian Duffield, who said of the film, “I wanted the movie to take the lead of a small intimate character study and drop an alien invasion on top of them,” according to a press release for the film. “The end of the world won’t only be for those that are ready for it, and the idea of an alien movie rudely bursting the bubble our character has spent years building and cultivating felt like a unique way to tell a favorite story.”

Duffield previously wrote The Babysitter, Underwater, and Love and Monsters. The movie also stars Ginger Cressman, Zach Duhame, Geraldine Singer, Dari Lynn Griffin, Elizabeth Kaluev and Evangeline Rose.

The film, which appears to have little dialog, features music by composer Joseph Trapanese. Tim White, Trevor White, Allan Mandelbaum and Duffield produce; Dever and Joshua Throne are executive producers.

No One Will Save You is set to hit Hulu on September 22nd.
