The last of SNL‘s cast shakeups has been announced.

Deadline broke the story that Chloe Troast, who started as a featured player a year ago, is one-and-done on Saturday Night Live, even though there were rumors that she could be upped to main cast status after a year of heavy screen time on the show.

Troast shared her thoughts on Instagram after the story came out. “Hey all, I was going to wait to post, but Deadline beat me to it,” she wrote. “Unfortunately I was not asked back to SNL this season. I wish I was going to be with all the the amazing friends I made there, it truly felt like home. But it wasn’t in the cards.”

Troast joins fellow castmates Punkie Johnson and Molly Kearney in departing the show.

Three new featured players were added: Ashley Padilla, Emil Wakim and Jane Wickline will appear next season.  Padilla appeared in HBO’s Curb Your Enthusiasm and NBC’s Night Court and has been a member of the Groundlings since 2021. Wakim was first seen on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in 2022, and Wickline is part of the live TikTok show Stapleview and appeared in My First Film on Mubi.

Moving into the main cast are Marcello Hernandez, Michael Longfellow and Devon Walker, who all joined the sketch comedy show in 2022.

Season 50 of Saturday Night Live premieres on September 28th, and the host and musical guest has yet to be announced. Jason Reitman’s SNL origin story film Saturday Night hits theaters in October.
