Warner Bros. now has an ETA for its Final Destination.

The sixth entry in the “you can’t cheat Death” horror franchise will be released to theaters on May 16th, 2025. Zach Lipovsky and Adam B. Stein directed Final Destination: Bloodlines, the official title of the film. Guy Busick and Lori Evans Taylor are writing the screenplay from a story by Jon Watts, and the plot details are a closely guarded secret.

Final Destination: Bloodlines will star Brec Bassinger, Teo Briones, Richard Harmon, Max Lloyd Jones, Owen Patrick Joyner, Kaitlyn Santa Juana, Rya Kihlstedt, Tinpo Lee, Anna Lore, Gabrielle Rose, April Amber Telek, and Alex Zahara.

In other Warner Bros. news, the studio picked up the CGI/live-action hybrid movie Animal Friends, and issued it a release date of October 10th, 2025. The road-trip movie, which stars Ryan Reynolds, Jason Momoa, Aubrey Plaza, Addison Rae, Dan Levy, Lil Rel Howery, and Ellie Bamber, was scheduled for an August release when it was a Sony product. Warner Bros. pushed the release date back to later in the year.

Peter Atencio directed the film from a script by Kevin Burrows and Matt Mider. Legendary is producing with Reynolds’ Maximum Effort company, along with Prime Focus Studios.

And finally, the David Robert Mitchell-directed and -written Flowervale Street, starring Anne Hathaway and Ewan McGregor, will get moved back almost one whole year, from May 16th, 2025 to March 13th, 2026. This could be a good thing, as mid-March is a prime opening spot for tentpole movies.

The plot for Flowervale is being kept secret. Mitchell also directed It Follows.

Mitchell, J.J. Abrams, Hannah Minghella, Matt Jackson, Tommy Harper and Jon Cohen produced Flowervale Street for Bad Robot, among others. The cast also includes Maisy Stella, Christian Convery, Jordan Alexa Davis, and P.J. Byrne.

Both Final Destination: Bloodlines and Flowervale Street will have IMAX releases.
