If it’s Friday, it must be time for a body swap.

Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan return as the mother-daughter duo with roaming souls in Freakier Friday – but this time, their curse extends to the next generation.

In the new Freakier Friday trailer, dropped of course on Friday, Anna (Lohan) is about to be married to Eric (Manny Jacinto) but her daughter Harper (Julia Butters) and his daughter Lily (Sophia Hammons) do not like each other at all, much to the soon-to-be newlyweds’ chagrin.

At Anna’s bachelorette party, Anna and her mom Tess (Curtis) get a reading that tells them they may soon learn a lesson they learned once before.

“”Change the hearts you know are wrong to reach the place where you belong,” the fortune teller says, which of course leads to the inevitable swapping.

The twist is that Anna and Tess don’t switch places with each other. Anna swaps with Harper and to Lily’s horror, she realizes she and Tess have exchanged bodies. From there the movie veers into Parent Trap territory, with the younger two (in Tess and Anna’s bodies) deciding to break up their parents’ wedding by getting Anna back together with old flame Jake (Chad Michael Murray).

Nisha Ganatra directed the film, from a screenplay by Jordan Weiss, as a sequel to the original 2003 movie, Freaky Friday. Both movies are based off the book Freaky Friday by Mary Rodgers. Freaky Friday was first made into a movie in 1976, with Jodie Foster and Barbara Harris playing the mother-daughter switchees.

Maitreyi Ramakrishnan, Rosalind Chao, Vanessa Bayer and Mark Harmon also star in the film.

Freakier Friday arrives in theaters August 8th.
