Osgood Perkins, director of Longlegs and The Monkey, has issued another cryptically-coded teaser for his upcoming film Keeper.

Keeper, due out in November, follows a couple as they escape for a romantic anniversary weekend at a secluded cabin. When Malcolm (Rossif Sutherland) suddenly returns to the city, Liz (Tatiana Maslany, Orphan Black, She-Hulk: Attorney at Law) finds herself isolated and in the presence of an unspeakable evil that unveils the cabin’s horrifying secrets.

There’s no more information on the plot than that, but from what we see in the dialogue-free trailer, someone is spying on women from various eras in time, from a WWII-era ball to a colonial farmhouse to a seemingly modern city. The intense stares go from welcome, to worrysome, to terrifying as the trailer progresses. At the end, we see women covered in blood screaming for their lives.

Just as they did for Longlegs, Neon and Perkins have given an enigmatic and eerie title to the Keeper trailer: You’re not right for this place.”

Keeper reunites Maslany with Perkins, who cast her in The Monkey, which offered a Keeper sneak peak during a post-credits scene. This is Perkins’ third film with Neon, which gave him and his Phobos production banner a first-look deal in May.
