If you say “Brad Pitt” three times, a Beetlejuice sequel appears.

Pitt’s Plan B production company is reviving the long-rumored sequel project for Warner Bros. There’s no script at this time but there are reports that at least two of the original cast members might return.

Beetlejuice, which came out in 1988 was directed by Tim Burton. The movie featured Geena Davis and Alec Baldwin as the spirits of a deceased couple who are harassed by the obnoxious family that has moved into their home. They hire Beetlejuice, a malicious spirit played by Michael Keaton, to force them out. Catherine O’Hara and Winona Ryder also starred.

Keaton is no stranger to reprising a beloved ’80s role – he is stepping back into the role of Bruce Wayne/ Batman – in the upcoming The Flash and Batgirl. (Burton directed Keaton in those movies as well.)

Pitt founded Plan B with Brad Grey and Jennifer Aniston back in 2001 and now serves as CEO of the company. Plan B is also currently developing Parasite director Bong Joon Ho’s next film for Warner Bros., among other projects.
