So Long, L.A.: Pop Culture Junkie Says Goodbye to the L.A. Comic Con
Pop Culture Junkie relocated to Los Angeles for the weekend…so are we famous now?
Well, maybe not quite, but our appearance at L.A. Comic Con is a step in the right direction. Assisted by our own Shauna Trinidad, host of the Pop Culture Junkie podcast, the PCJ team hosted a booth at con, met some interesting (and even famous) people, and filled up your social media feeds with videos and pics of all the cool stuff we saw.
We got to talk to Patrick Labyorteaux (Little House on the Prairie, Heathers, JAG), who told us about his Working Actors School, and authors Sheri Fink and Derek Taylor Kent of Whimsical World books, and our friend and former podcast guest, Alina Masquerade. You can check out those videos and more on our Facebook page.
Of course we also talked to cosplayers, artists, crafters, musicians, writers, vendors and fans. It was truly a pleasure to talk to so many dedicated people this weekend. There’s nothing like the passion of someone who is devoted to who or what they love.
If we met you this weekend, we hope to see you again soon. And if not, we will look for you next year.
