A Quiet Place the movie is being developed into a video game, due out in 2022. The game is described as a new single-player, story-driven horror adventure video game based on the film franchise.

Expect an original story and gameplay that “captures the compelling suspense, emotion and drama for which the series is famous.”

The game is being created by Saber Interactive, iLLOGIKA, and EP1T0ME, and its official website describes it as an “untold story of survival in the A Quiet Place universe”, suggesting this will not follow the events of the acclaimed horror movies from John Krasinski.

Montreal studio iLLOGIKA is known for co-developing franchises like Far Cry and Rainbow Six, as well as games like Cuphead and SpongeBob Squarepants Krusty Cook-Off. The publisher of the game will be Saber Interactive, who is behind the World War Z and Evil Dead games.

There’s no word on the platforms on which the game will be available.

The A Quiet Place movie series directed by John Krasinski starring him and Emily Blunt, first debuted in 2018 for Paramount Pictures. A sequel, A Quiet Place II, was released in the summer of 2021 and there are talks of making the film series a trilogy. The movies are set in a post-apocalyptic world where survivors must live life as quiet as possible in a world full of monsters that hunt based on sound alone.
