How Do You Get Eaten By a Monster? The Gruesome Answer In New Horror Film Exec Produced by Cher Is ‘Little Bites’
This may be one of the more interesting horror movie production teams in recent news.
Cher and her son Chaz Bono are executive producers on Little Bites, a body horror film about a mother who makes the ultimate sacrifice to protect her daughter from a monster.
The film follows Mindy (Krsy Fox), “a young widow and mother, who desperately tries to protect her daughter Alice (Elizabeth Caro) from the grips of a fiendish, flesh-eating monster named Agyar (Jon Sklaroff). Mindy has been secretly sacrificing her own life by allowing the creature to slowly feast on her body as she keeps Alice hidden away at her grandmother’s (Bonnie Aarons).”
In the trailer that dropped Wednesday, we see Mindy offering herself up to the monster, as well as the aftermath – she gazes at her partially-clothed body in a full length mirror, looking at the nasty bites inflicted by the creature.
Spider One directed the film, which stars horror icons Heather Langenkamp (Nightmare on Elm Street) and Barbara Crampton (Re-Animator, Jakob’s Wife) as well as Chaz Bono, Lyndsi LaRose, Mark Kelly, Christopher Alvarenga, Angel Melanson, Elle Riot Fox, as well as James A. Janisse and Chelsea Rebecca of the popular YouTube channel Dead Meat.
Little Bites makes its debut at Fantastic Fest, which begins next week in Austin, Texas.
Little Bites opens in theaters and will have a digital release on October 4th.
