Nicolas Cage has landed a new role…and it’s not Nicolas Cage.

Cage is set to star in and produce a comedy from A24 called Dream Scenario. Also producing is Midsommar filmmaker Ari Aster, according to an individual with knowledge of the project who spoke with TheWrap.

Kristoffer Borgli, who directed Sick of Myself, will write and direct the film.

Aside from admitting its a comedy, the movie’s plot details are being kept a secret for now.

Dream Scenario marks the fourth time that A24 is teaming up with Aster’s Square Peg production company. The first two films were, of course, Hereditary and Midsommar, and Aster will join A24 again on the upcoming film Disappointment Blvd. starring Joaquin Phoenix.

Nic Cage most recently played himself (or an amped-up version of himself) in The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent, a meta comedy that paired him with Pedro Pascal. He’ll soon be seen in the Western Butcher’s Crossing as well as the vampire movie Renfield in which Cage will play Dracula.
