There’s nowhere for her to run.

Ellen Hutter (Lily-Rose Depp, Silent Night) is living a nightmare: a supernatural, super-strong entity desires her, and there’s nothing she can do about it in writer/director Robert Eggers’ remake of Nosferatu, coming to theaters this December.

Nosferatu “is a gothic tale of obsession between a haunted young woman and the terrifying vampire infatuated with her, causing untold horror in its wake,” according to an official synopsis. The original Nosferatu, directed by F.W. Murnau, was released in 1922.

Bill Skarsgård (It) stars as Count Orlok, aka Nosferatu in the film, and Nicholas Hoult (Renfield) takes on yet another movie vampire as Thomas Hutter, a man fighting to save his wife from the pure evil consuming her. Willem Dafoe plays Professor Albin Eberhart von Franz, who assists Hutter in tracking down the vampire.

Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Emma Corrin, Ralph Ineson, and Simon McBurney also star. Along with Eggers, Chris Columbus, Eleanor Columbus, Jeff Robinov, and John Graham serve as producers.
