It’s Aquaman meets Peacemaker in a new Warner Bros. action comedy.

Ok, it’s Jason Momoa and John Cena, not their DC characters, who have signed on to the upcoming Killer Vacation, a new action comedy from Warner Bros. Not much is known about the film, except that it will be similar in tone to comedic adventure flicks like True Lies.

The movie will be produced by John Rickard and Peter Safran, the newly-appointed co-head for DC Studios (with James Gunn). The deal for this film was made before Safran assumed that position. The script will be co-written by Mark and Brian Gunn, who penned Brightburn and who are both related to James Gunn.

Momoa and Cena met on the set of the upcoming final films (Fast X and Fast & Furious 11) in the Fast and the Furious franchise, and are both in the DC stable as Aquaman and Peacemaker, respectively. Momoa’s Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, produced by Safran, hits theaters on December 25th, 2023, and he will soon be seen in the Western The Last Manhunt, Netflix’s fantasy pic Slumberland and Apple TV+’s See.

Cena will return for more Peacemaker episodes, and will be in Pierre Morel’s action-comedy Freelance, the animated Coyote vs Acme, Clay Tarver’s sequel to Vacation Friends titled Honeymoon Friends and Peter Farrelly’s comedy Ricky Stanicky.

No release date has been mentioned for this film.
