Godzilla vs Kong trailer

The first official trailer for Godzilla vs Kong dropped on Sunday, and it asks the questions we all want answers to, like ‘which is better in a fight, massive hairy biceps or flamethrower breath?’

There is no answer to this philosophical dilemma, of course, as the movie doesn’t open until March 26th and so far no one has divulged who will win this Battle of the Kaiju Baddies. (Not for nothing, but there’s so much collateral damage that it looks like no matter who “wins,” humanity loses.)

The trailer shows Kong and his protectors on a quest to find Kong his real home. Kong makes friends with an orphan child named Jia, who has such a special bond with the big ape that she can communicate with him. She even offers him his own one-of-a-kind Kong doll.

But things gets complicated when they cross paths with the emperor of mean movie monsters, Godzilla. Apparently, something is causing Godzilla to hurt humans and demolish cities, as if he needed a reason.

Godzilla vs Kong now has a trailer, so watch the Kaiju monsters square off.

In the trailer, the two monsters immediately start fighting when Kong delivers a mean right hook from the deck of this unfortunate battle ship. Things go downhill from there as the two beasts square off in a big city, destroying property values left and right.

But is it two beasts or three? Some fans theorize that the trailer indicates that Mechagodzilla is not only there, but the reason behind Godzilla’s bad mood.
