Disney Takes a Shine to Apple Music
Want to rock out to Guardians of the Galaxy? Sing along with your favorite Princess? Bop along to the Star Wars Cantina Song (or Imperial March?) Then you have a friend in Apple Music.
Apple Music has its own dedicated Disney zone, with playlists from Marvel, Star Wars, Pixar and your favorite animated classics, as well as dedicated radio channels like Disney Hits Radio. There’s even a Halloween playlist to celebrate Spooky Season.
Disney and Apple have long been buddy-buddy (though Spotify had a Disney zone first, go figure), from back in the day when Steve Jobs was Disney’s largest single shareholder and Bob Iger had a seat on the board of Apple.
This week the relationship grew even tighter – not only is Disney music now yours (with your Apple subscription), Disney released 4K versions of many of its movies on iTunes, including many Marvel, Pixar and Star Wars titles.
What’s your favorite Disney sing-a-long bop? Let us know in the comments.
