The Junkies recount their trip to Newport Beach, where Shauna’s broke her foot, and plan cosplay options for her situation. Then Shauna and Olivia discuss fan fiction: why fans are compelled to write scenes for their favorite characters, how fanfic allows people to reclaim characters from problematic authors (coughcoughJK Rowling) and they even read samples of some unexpected (and saucy) crossover stories.
