Host Brad Perry, Nicole Eldridge, Shauna Trinidad, Hayley the Brave and Alex Castillo-Nuñez on the set of the Arizona Daily Mix

It’s been a big week here at Pop Culture Junkie.

Normally we don’t write about ourselves, but just this once, we’d like be our own hype machine. The Pop Culture Junkie website just marked its first anniversary, and next week we will record the 52nd weekly episode of the podcast.

In order to commemorate one year of bringing our listeners the best in pop culture news and reviews, we decided it was time to break into television.

Brad Perry of the Arizona Daily Mix on KAZT invited us to be on his show, and of course, we agreed. The entire gang of Junkies – Hayley the Brave, Nicole Eldridge, Alexander Castillo-Nunez and Shauna Trinidad – came to the KAZT studios ready to chat.

Pop Culture Junkie makes its home in Phoenix, AZ, so KAZT was a natural place to start the Junkies’ TV careers. In addition to explaining the show to anyone who hasn’t heard it yet, Brad asked the Junkies about their pop culture bona fides, and how everyone ended up on the show.

It was a lively and fun interview, but you don’t have to take our word for it. Tune in to see it live, or watch online at the links below. And be sure to listen to the podcast; we have some great shows and guests coming up in addition to our library of great episodes you can get on your favorite podcast app.
