A devoted fan of The X-Files, Hayley’s not sure how to feel about Ryan Coogler’s upcoming spinoff/reboot, but as they say on the show, she “wants to believe.” The Junkies discuss what makes a spinoff work or not work. Why did Angel, for example, turn out so much better than Joey? (To pick a really bad example.) Then the talk moves on to The Walking Dead, which has as many spinoffs as Saturn has moons. Well, almost. And though some of them really work, some kind of don’t. But aren’t we all happy to know that somehow, Daryl Dixon ended up in Paris? Yes, we are.
