Microsoft’s upgraded iOS app now lets you stream your games directly from your console to you iPhone, iPad or any iOS device, and it comes compatible with Xbox Series X and Series S games.

Unlike Microsoft’s own Xcloud service, you won’t be able to stream games directly from the servers, only your own Xbox console. And it won’t be compatible with original or Xbox 360 games, only Xbox One and beyond.

It does, however allow you to stream using WiFi, so you don’t have to be right on top of your console, and when you get your new Xbox Series X/S console next month (it will be in stores November 10th) the interface is designed for easy set up.

The app is faster and the UI matches the Xbox design. It’s similar to what Android offered just last month, so even though they didn’t get there first, plenty of iOS users will be glad they got there before the next big Xbox launch.
