It’s official: Hulu is sentencing a new cast of characters to do hard time on Prison Break.

The streamer is rebooting the 2005-2017 Fox drama that starred Wentworth Miller, Dominic Purcell, Sarah Wayne Callies (and others) with a show set in the same world but apparently with none of the actors from the original.

The new Prison Break, created by Elgin James (Mayans M.C.) will center on Cassidy (Emily Browning), an ex-soldier turned corrections officer who takes a job at one of the deadliest prisons in America to prove just how far she’ll go for someone she loves.

The cast will include Drake Rodger as Tommy, Lukas Gage as Jackson, Clayton Cardenas as Michael “Ghost,” JR Bourne as Junior, Georgie Flores as Andrea, and Myles Bullock as Darius “Red.”

Disney, which owns both Fox and 20th Television, developed the show for Hulu. James will serve as showrunner and produce alongside Paul Scheuring, Dawn Olmstead, Marty Adelstein and Neal Moritz.

The original Prison Break premiered on Fox in 2005 and ran for four seasons, after which it was given a fifth season of just nine episodes in 2017. It starred Miller as a man who deliberately has himself incarcerated as part of a plan to break out his wrongfully convicted brother (Purcell). It can currently be streamed on both Hulu and Netflix.
