Is Daredevil going to break She-Hulk’s heart?

Probably not, but it looks like the character, who is getting a revival series called Daredevil: Born Again on Disney+, will be playing the field. According to Deadline, Margarita Levieva (The Deuce) and Sandrine Holt (American Gigolo) were cast in “major roles” in the upcoming series, roles that are said to be love interests, not just for Matt Murdock/Daredevil, but for Wison Fisk, aka Kingpin, played by Vincent D’Onofrio.

Levieva was most recently seen starring in the Netflix series In From the Cold, created by Adam Glass. She will next be seen in ITV and Tiger Aspect’s Litvinenko. Holt has appeared in  AMC’s Better Call Saul, Prime Video’s The Expanse, Showtime’s Homeland, CBS’ MacGyver, NBC’s Law & Order: Special Victims Unit and Netflix’s House of Cards.

They join a cast that includes Michael Gandolfini, who starred as a young Tony Soprano in the Sopranos prequel film The Many Saints of Newark.

Cox starred in Daredevil on Netflix for three seasons until the series was cancelled in 2018. He made a surprise cameo as Murdoch in the 2021 film Spider-Man: No Way Home. Daredevil returned for a brief appearance in the live-action series She-Hulk: Attorney at Law.

D’Onofrio, meanwhile, appeared as Fisk in the Disney+ series Hawkeye, where he was last seen being confronted by Maya Lopez, aka Echo (Alaqua Cox), in an alleyway. Both D’Onofrio and Charlie Cox will appear in the series named after that character, which is set to debut sometime in mid-2023.

Born Again‘s 18-episode first season, which is being written and executive-produced by writing duo Matt Corman and Chris Ord (Covert Affairs), is set to bow on Disney+ in Spring 2024, part of Phase 5 of the MCU.
