She Was Made for This: Miss Piggy Guests as Judge on “RuPaul’s Drag Race All-Stars”
Miss Piggy, judgemental? Oh, maybe a little.
In that just makes sense, the most lovable, glamorous (and to be honest, a little full of herself) of all Muppets will appear on the upcoming season of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars when it makes its debut on Paramount+.
Tuesday VH1 and Paramount+ announced the full lineup of guest judges for the sixth season, which premieres June 24th. Other top tier talent like Aisha Tyler, Big Freedia, Charli XCX, Emma Roberts, Jamal Sims, Justin Simien, Tia Mowry, Tina Knowles-Lawson ( the mother of Beyoncé and Solange Knowles), and Emmy-award winning fashion designer Zaldy will all join the mainstay judges of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars.
Other special guest appearances include Alec Mapa, Angela Bassett, Cheyenne Jackson, Fortune Feimster, Jermaine Fowler, Tanya Tucker, and of course, Miss Piggy herself.
This season of All Stars will only air on Paramount+. Thirteen queens from previous seasons will sashay back for their chance to snag the crown. Season 11’s A’Keria C. Davenport, Eureka! from seasons 9 and 10, Ginger Minj from season 7, Jiggly Caliente from season 4, Pandora Boxx from season 2, and more will be back to try to dazzle the judges.
Prior to All-Stars 6, a full RuPaul’s Drag Race All-Stars marathon will air on Logo beginning Monday, June 21st at 6pm Eastern time.
Host RuPaul Charles promises a twist this season when the show features a “game within a game.” Paramount and VH1 say that this season will bring the “mother of all twists that will leave viewers gagged” – and hopefully that’s as fun as it sounds.
RuPaul’s Drag Race All-Stars 6 premieres its first two episodes June 24th, and new shows will premiere every week after that. New installments of behind-the-scenes show Untucked follow each episode.
