Guilty of Man’s Laughter: ‘The Naked Gun’ Drops Full Trailer that Introduces Pam Anderson’s Character
Frank Drebin Jr. follows in his old man’s footsteps in the full trailer for the upcoming Naked Gun reboot which dropped Monday.
Liam Neeson as Junior plays it deadly straight whether he’s beating a man with his own arms, gunning his way into a cafe restroom, or reading a suspect’s rap sheet and noting he “served 20 years for man’s laughter”
“Must’ve been quite the joke,” Drebin Jr. quips after the accused, played by Busta Rhymes, corrects him.
The trailer also shows that Pam Anderson, who plays femme fatale Beth in the trailer, can go toe-to-toe with Neeson as she gamely takes a chair – out of Drebin’s office – when he offers her a seat. Beth reveals to Drebin that her brother may have been murdered, fueling the plot in part.
