I’m a ‘Creep’- Patrick Brice and Mark Duplass Reunite for “Psychosexual” Horror ‘Violet’ Starring Lili Reinhart

The team behind the 2014 found-footage movie Creep will work together once again on a new project starring Lili Reinhart (Riverdale, Forbidden Fruits.)
Director Patrick Brice will reunite with Creep star Mark Duplass for Violet, a “psychosexual” horror film that follows Sean (Danny Ramirez), a man “who has found love with his childhood friend Kate (Reinhart) after the death of his fiancée Violet (Suki Waterhouse). But when the happy couple move into the home Sean once shared with Violet, he starts receiving unsettling text messages from someone claiming to be his dead ex.”
The synopsis concludes saying, “In an age of constant connectivity— where every text, photo, and digital footprint lingers forever— do exes ever really let you go?”
Lukas Gage also stars in the film, scripted by Nick Antosca (Cape Fear, Verity) and Alana B. Lytle (Something Very Bad is Going to Happen). Antosca and Lytle also worked together on the series Brand New Cherry Flavor.
FilmNation Entertainment is releasing Violet, which starts production next year.

In Creep, Brice played a videographer assigned to record a video for the unborn child of a man (Duplass) who turns out to be a deranged serial killer. Brice and Duplass continued the franchise with a sequel film Creep 2 and the Shudder series The Creep Tapes.
